Well, back from the show. And it was a hot one! Really! Evidently, the Roxy has no A/C.

Interesting to watch a tv show being made. When we got to the venue, Terri was stepping out of a limo. It was all for show, the limo was rented and was parked in front of the club. The producers didn't like the shot of Terri driving her own car, so all the band members got into the limo, and were taped getting out of the limo.

TV shows mean lots of lights, and lots of lights make lots of heat. And a little bottle of water was $3.50. So it goes.

Richard Blade, who broke Berlin on LA radio all those years ago, was the host of the evening. I guess. Blade did all the audience warmup with trivia and t-shirt giveaways. The actual show host was the Vh-1 CountDown guy. Forgot his name. He made a grand entrance, but it didn't look right on tape. So we cheered him again. Yes, the audience repeatedly cheered the VH-1 countdown guy. Do-overs - or Mulligans.

Then the moment that was over twenty years in the making....the return of the (sorta) original Berlin. Terri's not original - but we'll look past that.

Considering they only had eight hours of practice, they sounded AWESOME!

The set list was:

Masquerade
Metro
Tell Me Why

Metro

No More Words - Acoustic - Fleetwood Mac Mix (probably won't be in the final cut)
No More Words - Acoustic

And then it was over, and the tv cameras caught the Boys of Berlin signing autographs, telling stories, and being extremely gracious and giving.

Great Big PapaBear Thanks to everybody involved in making this happen. I enjoyed it immensely.

And Thank You to MamaBear for letting me go!
