Whew!! Just got in from the DVD filming.

Let me extend a great big 'Bear "thank you" to Imusic, Artist Direct, Berlin, and Scotto & The Berlinpage.

This evening was wonderful! I was able to meet up with friends, both new and old. Gary from NYC already posted, and he seemed to really enjoy the show. Even GodfatherLV was in the house.

Basically, from an audience perspective, this wasn't a lot different from other shows. To set the tone, the band started with Masquerade. That got the "studio audience" really worked up. 100 or so of us also rocked out to Drug, No More Words, The Dope Show, The Metro, Sex (I'm a...) - the I Feel Love mix, Never Let Me Down, With a Touch, Shiny, Blink, Stranger on the Bus, and a few other tunes that I can't think of right now. But several people left with set lists (you know who you are) and can post the complete listing.

Terri's mom was in the audience with her new husband, who was sporting the "new" design Berlin T-Shirt. Good Job, Steve! Terri dedicated Take My Breath Away to Joy, and we were all thrilled!

Linda was spot-on, as usual, and Chris was putting on another "drum clinic". With the small audience, in a tiny studio, you could really feel in your bones, every crash of the drums. Mitchell is always incredible, and tonight we were treated to two of the rave dancers.

One might wonder if there was a victim of the "metro treatment". Well, there was, and tonight it was a cameraman. Normally, we don't see cameramen at Berlin shows (outside of Ron), but tonight there were 3 of them floating around. Two more were on stationary cameras. Well, this poor cameraman was wrestled to the ground by a woman half his size and dang if he didn't look like the pathetic loser who deserved to hear "SORRY" delivered at his astonished countenance! And I'm sure he loved every bit of it.

Late in the set, Terri threw a drumstick into the audience and I had the good fortune to catch it. I was really surprised. Actually, I was momentarily distracted watching the cameras zoom around, and wondered why one camera was looking right at me. So if I come out looking stupid and confused for a moment on the final dvd, it's because I felt stupid and confused! But I got the drumstick, so it's OK.

After the show, which lasted for probably 2 hours, the band was good enough to hang around to sign whatever you had. Terri took pictures with everybody that had the foresight to bring a camera. Which left me out. But I lifted a disclaimer sheet off the wall, and you will see that posted in the near future on www.pleasurevictim.com - because I truly am!

Again, "THANK YOU" to Terri, Mitchell, Linda, Chris, Dallan, Scotto, the Berlinpage, Artist Direct, and I-Music! Thanks for making my Thursday night!

And if anybody is in Hollywood tomorrow night, go see Dallan's other project, biglove, at the Gig on Melrose. 11 pm.
