Just a quick note:

The gold record has arrived in tip-top shape at it's new home!

Thanks to all, especially Terri!

OH MY GAWD! What a night!

I hadn't said anything to mamabear about the Gold record or the loge seating...

So I'm at the hotel, waiting for a taxi, a car pulls up... and Terri steps out! No limo, driver, or personal assistant for that girl!

Terri didn't know that I was papabear and she chatted with us just like regular folk. Her mom definately raised her right. GO MOM!

So Terri is telling my wife all about the presentation of the pics, jacket, and the Gold while I look at the ground and try to keep a straight face.

A great big thank you to Terri for making this auction happen. A big thank you to all the bidders.

Let's all give Scotto a big thank you for all the hard work he does with this board. RJA and Cheshire, too.

Thank you guys!

A special thank you to Scott for the liaison work. Attaboy!

Thank you to the Terri's manager for getting us upstairs. Thank you to Scott for getting the GodFather and me downstairs. Thank you to Terri for making this all possible.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to have met some really special people. Like Terri's mom - what an incredible lady. Like the real Mr. Terri Nunn - must be a great guy for Terri to have him.

Great to finally meet Scott, Paul K, Cheshire, The Godfather, Ron / Rock, and Martin (MA in LA) - all just fantastic people.

Had really pleasant chats with Linda, Chris, Dallan, and Mitchell - they are all very nice. I sucked up and they were sooo polite. (See, I was a little tipsy) But I think they're nice anyway! You may have read in previous posts how gracious everybody is - it is so true!

I was kind of ribbing Paul K about losing on the Gold Record by $50 bucks. I may have been a bit obnoxious. Sorry. I felt bad until I read of his "experience" at the show. I don't feel bad any more!

This is kind of off topic but I can't figure out how to post on the SwithBlade Kittens message board - maybe Drama Queen will read this.

I haven't listened to punk in a real long time. But I did enjoy the SBK's. I like "My dad's a janitor" and the new song "na na na na".

I do want to apologize for barging into the dressing room. Sorry! We took a wrong turn while going downstairs. Bit I did get to chat with a very pleasant Drama in the stairwell!

I guess if I can like the 80's retro I can like punk, too.
